Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara, a Romanian and German actor who is employed on TV and in films is most well-known for her roles in films such as Rush and Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. She was the sole child of Romanian actors Valentin Platareu. Alexandra started her showbiz career at an early age. By the time she reached the age of 16, Alexandra had landed prominent roles in a variety of television dramas. In the Oscar-nominated film Downfall, her role as the Secretary Traudljunge of Adolf Hitler was also highly praised. Additional Oscar nominated movies featuring the diva include The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex. Alexandra is well known for her participation in a variety of noteworthy projects both domestically as well as internationally. These include British biographical films Control Greek drama film The Dust of Time as well as the French historic miniseries Napoleon as well as other miniseries. She also served in the jury panel of the Transylvania International Film Festival, as well as at the Cannes Film Festival.
